Team Dance Season

March, April, and May are busy months for me because it is dance competition season and Kacey keeps us all busy at Team Dance. This year we had events in Bozeman, Sacramento, Idaho Falls, Boise, and Spokane. Since Rory was no longer a little bitty breast fed baby, I was able to leave her with baby sitters or Stephen and take off to spend a weekend with my sisters watching dance. For one of the weekends, John and Lucina came down to watch Rory while Stephen was at work. They had the best time together. Every time John and Lucina are in town they fix up our yard, fill our freezer with delicious food, and teach our baby all kinds of cool new tricks and this time was no different.
While I was gone they planted a lime tree and a tangelo tree, worked their magic to save our other trees (that I am horrible at taking care of) and bought Rory her first set of golf clubs. They went on a lot of walks to the park and spent almost all day outdoors (Rory's favorite). Sometimes it's nice to not be missed at all. *The selfie of Stephen I had to include because I texted him one morning saying that I needed a picture because I was missing my baby. I laughed so hard when I got this instead of a picture of Rory like I was anticipating.

The Team Dance season was awesome this year. It was nice because we were all able to be at the majority of the events (it was an off year for babies) and that always helps the show run so much smoother. Scarlet got to come along to the Sacramento event and was a ton of "help"- she could often be found eating snacks or taking a nap in the judges room- haha! This is the beautiful creation she set up in the judges break room. Everything is a little fancier with her around. It is so fun to work with your family, it's like a mini reunion every weekend.

As much as I love Team Dance events, and I truly do love them, it is always nice when the season is over and I get to put my carry on away for a while and just be at home with my crew. These pictures are from a lovely day out at the park with our friends Sarah and Rebecca Barton. Can't wait to see what the 2019 competition season holds!
