Luckily for me, we don't hold competitions on Easter weekend so I got to be at home with my peeps (ha, get it?). After a lovely session of Conference we drove down to Glendale to spend the day with Brad and Jules. Earlier in the week we had tried to color eggs with Rory for family night, and it was not very successful, so we will just have to keep our fingers crossed that she will be into it by next year because I love me some egg-dyeing! So, we went to Brad and Jules and had a little Easter egg hunt with the kids in the backyard. Owen was a pro and he totally dominated Madden and Rory, who were mostly distracted by everything but the eggs in the backyard.
After the egg hunt we took the chance to take some family pictures while we still have a free photographer nearby. Rory and Stephen may look less than thrilled, but I finally look skinny in a picture of the three of us together so it will in fact be posted everywhere forever. We had a wonderful dinner together that Jules had made, because she is the best, and then the kids went to town on their egg hunt candy. We had thrown all the kids in the bathtub together, and then Owen got to stay in by himself while we got the little ones in jammies. I went to check on him when I heard him laughing his head off and this is what I found. Yes, that is what an entire bottle of foaming body soap looks like. He thought it was pretty darn cool and it made us all laugh so hard.
